The Booking Hall Café - About Us The Booking Hall Café was opened on Saturday 4 April by Sarah and Robert Branch, to much acclaim by all those who used it. The Booking Hall Café specialises in well-priced, simple and tasty home-cooked food. Sarah does all the cooking and is an Escoffier-trained chef. All cakes, bread rolls, soups and dishes of the day are home-cooked, are made from only the finest ingredients and are guaranteed to tantalise your taste buds. We try and adopt a fair and ethical approach to our business. Our commitment to you is that, where possible, we use Fairtrade ingredients and all our tea and coffee is Fairtrade. Organic produce is a major component of our dishes, our eggs are from free-range chickens and we will not use meat from battery chickens or caged animals. We try to source our ingredients locally as far as we can and would like to think that our business assists in some small way to help the prosperity of our area. We look forward to you coming to our café, and we assure you of a warm, friendly welcome whenever you visit. In the winter, there will be a real fire to keep you cosy and on warm clement days we will spread out on to the platform and allow you to bask in the sun. The platform is south facing and gets the sun on it all day long and is a truly glorious place to sit and take some time to yourself, to relax and watch the world go by. |
