Opening hours are from 9.30am to 5pm seven days a week from 01 April until 30 September and 9.30am to 3.30pm from 01 October to 31 March. We close on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. 

We are open for breakfast where you can have porridge, bacon rolls or sausage sandwiches. We will always have a soup of the day and a dish of the day. You will have to come and see what they are on our specials board but, last week, the soup was homemade Golden Vegetable and the dish of the day was ‘beef and prunes braised in Guinness with a potato and parsnip colcannon’. Another of our specialities is the traditional English cream tea with a homemade scone and a choice of preserves and clotted cream. Perfect for an English summers’ day. 

With free parking, good food and a beautiful old Victorian building and lovely surroundings, we can assure you of a pleasant break in your day. Why not come and see us?
